Wes

Besides feeling a bit fatigued Wes is doing very well. His head is getting more sunburned all the time, but he is not having any adverse reactions to either the chemo or radiation. The fatigue comes and goes and some days are worse than others. Yesterday he had energy to burn and today he was quite tired, but perked right up when I promised to make him sausage, perogies and schmauntfat - haha.

His fatigue is an unnatural tired, a little hard to explain, but when it comes he needs to find rest. It does not always mean that he sleeps, but with everything quiet in the apartment he just needs time to put his feet up and regain some of his energy.

Nicolas came home yesterday and told us about a young woman at his work place who was complaining that she was having trouble with her wisdom teeth.

Nic replied "My dad had trouble with his wisdom tooth."

"Oh, did he pull the tooth or what?" she asked

Nic chuckled, "Actually they found a brain tumour and decided they wouldn't do anything with the tooth"

She called Nic an insensitive jerk.

"Your dad has a brain tumour and you make a joke out of it?" she snapped

Nic smiled, "Yeah. But, you should hear the jokes my dad makes about it"
