Four to Go!
November 26 - 2008
Well, we made it through a two treatment day. After the first treatment at 8:00a.m. Wes slept until noon and then I needed to wake him to have lunch and his next dose of medication. We finally got going after a lunch of pancakes & chocolate sauce (yummy!) and arrived at the hospital for the second treatment. Though Wes had slept for a number of hours he was still very very tired. After the second treatment we came back to the apartment so he could rest.
Please pray for his eyes, yesterday morning he woke up with a broken vessel in his left eye. The doctor said that it was something to be expected because they are radiating right behind that eye. Today after two treatments is has become quite red, but we are hoping that after a three day rest it will have had a chance to heal.
So we are down to the home stretch! Only 4 treatments left!

I don't know your name, but we appreciate your comment. Most days we don't feel very inspirational, but it is the prayers of God's people that helps us to continue to put one foot in front of the other and to be so grateful for the many answers to prayer we have already experienced.
