A New Week

April has been a handful I will admit and next week will be no different. On Tuesday, April 21st Wes will go for his MRI in Winnipeg and then we will be getting the results on Friday from Dr. Butler. So, again we have a bit of a nerve wracking week coming up.

I don't even know what else to really say, except, pray.
I woke up this morning and I thought, "Wouldn't it be exciting if they said they couldn't find the tumor?"

Well, after that thought I was up for the day.

Sometimes I envy our dog, the only real worry he has is not getting too close to the wheels of the vehicles he chases or wondering if Wes is going to remember to feed him. Actually, it's quite funny when we come home from town we always know when Buddy is hungry because he stands in the door of the garage and looks at us as the door closes and the closer to the ground the door gets the closer his head gets to the ground just so he can keep looking at us.
All Wes has to say is "You want something to eat?" and Buddy is off and running to the side of the house where his dog house is.
Today Buddy had his afternoon nap in an interesting place...the fire pit. Wes and I laughed as we looked out the back garden doors and a few seconds later I ran to get the camera. A dog's life seems so easy.

I know that's how we should be, completely at peace that the world around us is in control by the one who created us, but some days are easier than others and lately it has felt as though some weeks are easier than others.

"He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." Jeremiah 17:8
